I worked on designing this NXT robotic arm in early February up until today. I designed it with the intention of it only being able to touch objects with its end defector, it does not use any sensors nor is it able to grab or lift anything. The arm went through several changes before its final design, as I found it more practical to build a base, use gears for movement, and add support to the motor that is furthest away from the pivot.
